Year 3

Mr Woodburn teaches in Year 3.

Year 3 is a very exciting year as the children make the transition from KS1 to KS2. They are encouraged to become more independent both in themselves and in their learning.

Our topics are varied and interesting, ranging from the Egyptians to the Stone Age in History and Volcanoes and Local Studies in Geography.

Year 3 is and exciting, engaging and entertaining classroom where the children work hard and play hard. They are challenged to ensure they achieve their full potential and learn how to become lifelong learners along the way, continually asking questions and wanting to improve.

"I can't do it...yet" is often heard as they tackle tricky problems on their never ending learning journey.
