Milnthorpe Primary School

Inspired by Channel 4’s 'Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds', we frequently visit the residents at Hartland House.

Both the children and residents always make friends straightaway, sharing jigsaws, drawing pictures and engaging in natural conversation, as children do!

The project is part of continuing community involvement at MPS; building relationships within our community and giving children the opportunity to meet people of different ages and experiences. As we discovered during Year 5’s Community Come Dancing sessions, these activities have far-reaching benefits for everyone involved!
